So I'm wondering...should I clean out a space in my garage for my car or leave it out under the elements? I'm trying to sell it, but a nice check from the insurance company would do the trick. Gotta love those "acts of God."
I have to admit, baring your soul to the world wide web sure is surreal. It makes me feel a little guilty for some reason and I can't really say why...it's weird I guess.
My brother, Jared, pointed out to me last night as we were watching news coverage of Hurricane Katrina approaching the Gulf Coast, that those of us who don't live in harm's way of storms like these secretly hope for Category 5's and huge storm surges, etc. because of how sensational it would be.
But my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those whose lives will never be the same due to this incredible storm. It really is difficult to know what you are feeling right now.
There is a God...someone had to create that hurricane.
How hopeless would it be to find yourself on the Gulf Coast right now, as a self-proclaimed atheist? Perhaps looking forward to oblivion? Here is one thing I know for sure...thousands of God-fearing people will show up in the next few days to help clean up the mess.
